In
depth: Max is interviewed by a reporter at M.C.C. He begins
to tell some old war stories, the first involving King Donovan
from "King of the Skies". After the clip, the reporter
asks Ned Tucker about the most heroic acts he's seen. He responds
it's toughest to fight without their high tech weapons, and
recalls the battle against the Aborigines in "Back to
the Stone Age". The reporter asks Kat if she feels pressure
about being the only woman on the team. She responds many
women have fought Overlord, including his ex-wife, as shown
in clips of "Overlord's Mystery Woman". Kat begins
to recall Sima, when the reporter says he's out of time, and
interviews Hiro next about bushido, the samurai code. He then
relates the story of his Master Daitou, and clips follow of
"Way of the Samurai". Next Ben and Tank are interviewed.
The reporter asks if Ben had to prove himself, and Tank responds
that young people naturally possess courage, recalling the
young girl in the hover wheelchair that was immune to the
Zone effect in "Errand of Mercy". The reporter then
interviews Commander Courage, looking for the bravest of the
Zone Riders. Courage responds that one man stands out, Colonel
Conrad. He relates the story in clips from 'Zone of Darkness".
The reporter came to get a story on the Zone Riders, but can't
get them to talk about themselves. The reporter ends with
"You can turn those things off guys, no story here."
Items
Noticed: Each Zone Rider interviewed is wearing a clip on
mike/recorder, a nice touch.
Notes:
The footage gets slightly grainier as the clips are played.
I wonder why?
What
do we learn? Max is second in command of the Zone Riders.
Kat has a radiation counter in her gauntlet ( left).
Goof
ups: None apparent.
Quotable
Quotes: " Don't you people ever talk about yourselves?"
- Reporter
"No." - Commander Courage.
