Episode Summary
Mission
Command Central receives word that someone has escaped the
Zone! Not knowing how this is possible, the Zone Riders investigate
and find out the escapee is none other than "King Donovan",
a mentor and "second father" to Dirk Courage. What
the they don't realize, however, is that he was sent out intentionally
by Overlord to lure the Zone Riders into a deadly trap.

Notes
An
interesting episode where Overlord plays on Dirk Courage's
loyalty to Donovan to try and eliminate the Zone Riders. And
unlike most cartoons released during this era, we see a main
character get seriously injured... and in the second episode
of the season no less! I particularly enjoyed the climax and
ending of this episode as well.
