In depth: Max is bored guarding Dr. Laurence and his scientists while the conduct field tests and the rest of the Zone Riders provide protection. Suddenly targets are incoming and the Zone Riders head into battle with the Black Widows who emerge from the Zone. They try to draw them away from Laurence's group. Razorback's tank is damaged and runs into a truck. Razorback ambushes Courage but is no match for him. They tie him onto Rimfire and head to Black Hills Maximum Security Prison. Tank again references his loss of his son Joseph who is in the Zone, wishing Razorback were locked up forever.

Arriving at the prison, Razorback is placed into custody. A prisoner named Skunk recognizes Al Krak (Razorback). M.C.C. suspects a scheme and sends Max into the prison under the name Frankin "Snake" DuBois. Max picks a fight to prove himself to Razorback, finding a planted comlink to discredit Skunk and get into his organization. Overlord plans back at HQ to destroy a troop transport train that will escort Razorback elsewhere. Communications to the train are jammed, so the Zone Riders must go in person.

As the train nears Mount Rushmore, the Black Widows lay their trap. Overlord detonates the charges, the mountain rumbles as the train comes perilously near. Tank uses a repulsor beam from his bazooka to put Washington's face back as it falls. The memorial is damaged but not destroyed. With the troops delayed, they'll have to hike in. Max is still in danger. Two of Skunk's goons try to kill Max in a piece of equipment at the prison. A tackle by a goon pops out the lens that shows Dr. Laurence whats going on, and it is destroyed. The prisoners go to mess call. When Max tells a guard who he is, pulling off his mask, but is discovered by Razorback. He then has Jones captured.

Razorback then makes an organized prison break with the inmates with Max strapped on front of the truck. Courage attempts to turn them back at the Zone boundary, but they are squeezed between two forces and flee into the Zone. A shot by Rimfire damages Overlord's comlink and he is out of command of the battle. Meanwhile Kat freezes the ground ahead of a truck, stopping it. Tank throws Razorback out of the lead vehicle and rescues Max who is Zoned. Courage uses Rimfire to destroy the Zone Generator, freeing the prisoners. Razorback escapes with Reaper back to the Zone as they retreat.

Items Noticed: Dr. Laurence makes a contact lens camera/mike combination that is amazing technology for 2007.

Notes: Max and Tanks former antagonism is seen lessening here, as Tank jokes about not wanting to ruin a perfectly good armored car (that Max was on).

What do we learn? The Zone that Dr. Laurence is studying is in South Dakota, since it is near Black Hills Prison and Mount Rushmore.

Skunk used to run with Al Krak (Razorback) in Jersey in younger days.

Goof ups: In the scene where Tank is going to ram Overlord with his truck, Max can clearly be seen wearing his "Snake" DuBois mask which he took off earlier and which shows no sign of Zone Bacteria.

Quotable Quotes: "So how're you feeling?" - Dirk Courage
"Well, not too bad for someone whose been beaten, tied to a bumper and run through the Zone!" - Max Jones
