In depth: As the episode opens on a military base with Eagle parked outside, men in green fatigues fight a pitched battle in a training scenario in Manila. They are the Green Berets, and Overlord is watching from Intruder, and dispatches a Zone Generator. Now the Black Widows and Green Berets are under his control! Nearby in Los Angeles, the Zone Riders have dispatched another generator with little resistance and no Black Widow interference. McFarland radios the situation with the Green Berets to Courage. They have priority one orders to free the men and destroy the generator.

Courage dispatches the team to check equipment, present a map of the area and has Tank rig Eagle to be controlled remotely from the ground. Max's old commanding officer is the commander of the 147th. Dr. Laurence provides a solution for the ground control of the plane, while Courage lays out the battle plan. It will be difficult, and they may be trapped in the fort they will invade. Courage sets all weapons to stun as they arrive in the Zone to meet up with their deployed equipment. They quickly find Overlord and his Black Widows. Courage withdraws, heading for the fort as two green Black Widow tanks of a new design attack. Overlord gives chase as they retreat. During the chase, two Cycles are destroyed, leaving Kat and Hiro riding with others. From Eagle, Max drops into the Zone with his Zone Runner cycle. Kat and Dirk have to abandon Rimfire after it is damaged.

Max approaches the Zone Generator and starts to set a charge, but Bandit is there with Major O'Harron and Max is surrounded. The Major starts to remove Max's helmet but Max escapes using hand to hand combat. Tank is setting the last charge but the rest of the Zone Riders have to fall back to the fort. Tank's cycle is destroyed, and the shrapnel destroys the remote control for the plane. Having rapidly lost all their vehicles, the Zone Riders regroup as they head into the fort. Only Max is outside and he is kept busy eluding the Zoners. Tank begins to fire off the charges he placed earlier, breaking up the ranks of the men assaulting the fortress. Overlord watches the battle, which goes badly for the Zone Riders. Dirk is shot in the arm, which is now paralyzed. Courage radios Max to blow the generator. Max lures Razorback into a hole with his maneuverable Zone Runner. The Major's plane crashes nearby, and Max makes sure he's OK, as he spots Overlord nearby.

Max quickly steals Bull Whip as Overlord is watching the battle. Max then uses the cannon to destroy the generator as the Major surprises him from behind. As the Zone lifts, the Major comes to his senses and stops choking Max. With only the Black Widows to shoot at, the Zone Riders then overcome Overlord's forces and they retreat. On Intruder, they confront Razorback on his failure as they leave. Tank, having repaired the remote, have Eagle land to pick them up. The Major and Max say their goodbyes and salute one another as the Zone Riders leave the Philippines.

Items Noticed: A very tactically rich episode - if you wanted all out action, this is the episode!

Notes: What must the budget be for Zone Rider Cycles? Every episode or so one is disabled or destroyed!

What do we learn? The 147th Green Beret Marauders are an elite fighting unit in 2007.

Major Timothy O'Harron is an officer who always believed in Lt. Max Jones, and provided some guidance to him in his career, saving him from the wrath of "The Brass." He also taught him everything he knows about hand to hand combat. He is the commander of the 147th.

A Warlord II fort is a standard installation used in training maneuvers, and one is present at the Manila base.

Zone Riders use jet powered "para packs" to descend into the Zone.

Goof ups: Max just JUMPS out of a plane with only the Zone Runner backpack on?!?! Yikes! He doesn't even somersault when he hits the ground. Tough guy or lazy animator - you be the judge.

Whoops! In the first shot of the Zone Generator, it looks like the feet on the left side are cut off or not drawn. Doh!

When Tank detonates the charges, he is using the Eagle remote, which was damaged in the last scene, and is now fine and repaired. When did he do this?

Quotable Quotes: "We are winning…we are WINNING!" - Overlord (I know, I can hardly believe it myself!)

"Ask and ye shall receive!" - Max

"Are you sure that remote is gonna work, Tank?" - Max
"When Tank fixes something, Tank FIXES something!" - Tank
